This site is a repository of writings, projects and general musings of Gillian Fuller - a writer and researcher in media and technology who often travels by the name geemaree.

Gillian, (that is me) seems to change disciplines and lives about every seven years. Fifteen years ago I was a linguist and semiotician. I used to draw a lot of tables and diagrams. ( I still really like doing that!) Five years ago I was somewhat presumptuously calling myself a network theorist. Now I feel like a transdisciplinary media geographer who writes about systems of mobility and the relations of network architecture and bodies. I also teach at a University in Australia, but let’us not speak about that now.
